We hit some glorious 55 degree days last week in NYC and today it went back to 20. Yes, twenty with one of those lovely “feels like 15” notifications in my weather app. I hate when mother nature plays tricks! I have decided that I’m done with winter and will no longer return to winter wear - which is a typical thought of mine when we hit the month of March. For as long as I can remember I have chosen to freeze my ass off in March out of pure determination for spring.
This week we are looking forward with a tarot pull, doing my roundup of favorite substacks, links to dive into and why meditating lying down is the shit.
Your Tarot Pull For the Week
I pulled this card for myself yesterday so when I pulled it again I instantly thought that my guides were just trying to get the same message to me. I put the card back in the deck and shuffled again…the same card flew out of the deck and landed on my table. So apparently everyone reading this needs the same card!
The five of wands encompasses a huge feeling of being scattered and a sign of conflict within you. “You may find yourself scattered, distracted, tending to everything and nothing…Your energy moves outward in many directions, yet you are suffering inside.”
This card is telling you to find a way to calm down your nervous system. Make it your number one priority to find stillness. Things will only get worse if you don’t.
My favorite ways to do this? Make time to meditate, do a light workout and go for a walk outside. Did you know that walking regulates your nervous system?
